Tiello has partnered with a highly successful Commercial General Contractor in San Bernardino County on their search for a Superintendent to focus on Ground-ups and Renovations of Commercial, Grocery Store, and Retail Projects.

Title: Superintendent (4 years)

Project Types: Commercial, Grocery, Supermarkets, Retail

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Able to perform all essential Superintendent job responsibilities
• Oversee daily operation of construction projects
• Attend and participate in Safety Training Program and enforce safety procedures
• Prepare and maintain responsibility for job schedule
• Develop Owner, Architect, and other Contractors' confidence and attend meetings as required
• Review all drawings, specifications, and submittals
• Chair and/or attend ongoing Contractor meetings
• Assure work quality - set standards for quality control
• Order materials and tools and plan supply allotment to maintain schedule
• Prepare necessary reports (e.g. timesheets, work orders, daily reports, and invoice approval)
• Document and complete all punch lists in a timely manner
• Organize, train, direct, and coordinate field construction team including those of other contractors
• Perform start-up testing and turnover to clientele

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4 years of experience as a Superintendent
• Experience supervising Commercial, Grocery Store, Retail projects
• Scheduling, RFI's, Change Orders, Submittals Experience
• Strong work ethic, team player with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, mathematical, and sound judgment skills

Pay: $105,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
